CONGRATULATIONS FIT MEMBERS! Greetings Friends In Training We would like to congratulate you on a job well done! In a few weeks, 10 miles will be our short run YAY! This Saturday, our full marathoners will go for a second 10 miler, and our Half marathoners will go for a strong 6 miler. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU!! We would like to thank everyone who made our fun finish line celebration such a success. A special THANK YOU goes out to Fire Station #13, Captain Mcloughlin, Chief Heiser, Lt. Santamarina, Mr. Bayne, and all the Fire Fighters who came to support us. In addition, we would like to thank MIX1 for their delicious and refreshing recovery drink, Assistant Coach Terry for his great help with the sound system, Assistant Coach Greg for the photography, Coach Audrey for all her hard work and for supporting Marcela’s crazy ideas unconditionally :), FIT members Dave and Jennifer for helping us set up, FIT member Nancy Murray, Erin, Scott, our magnificent Assistant Coaches for all their support, and everyone else who contributed to the success of our fun finish line celebration . Jay ran track in high school and part in college and he is currently training for his 1st sprint triathlon.
