TRAINING TIP OF THE WEEK

REMINDER! SAFETY, SAFETY SAFETY!

-REMINDER! Do not leave any valuables in your car!!

We are sorry to inform you we had a car broken into while at the park last Saturday :( Fortunately, there were no wallets nor valuables left to be stolen, (we know better :) but the incident could have been worst if purse or wallet were left in the car. We are in the process of contacting park rangers and police department to do rounds in the parking lot while we are running. However, please be careful and do not bring any valuables with you. Carry your ID/Drivers License in a little Ziploc bag (in your running belt pocket, but be sure is not one you open frequently to avoid dropping it) along with your insurance card, a little cash in case of emergency, and anything else you can FIT in your little ziploc baggie you may think you’ll need. But again, do not leave anything valuable in your car!

- It is hot out there! Keep yourself Cool!

With the summer upon us, temperatures are raising and we are definitely feeling it! We recommend you keep yourself hydrated and cool by using the showers on the beach when needed (it feels great to get your head under the shower! :) and we also recommend/ask that you bring a little cooler with ice so you can use to cool yourself off after the run. Also, please be sure to adjust your pace accordingly and be safe out there!
