“My Success Story” By Greg Raven

FIT Training helped Greg achieve his Boston Marathon Goal!

"I was one burned-out and tired runner after many years of hard training and racing. I was almost ready to quit running and find some other form of exercise. I had qualified for Boston in 2007, but I had my doubts I could run the race as I had suffered injuries to my feet. I gave running another chance and started training with FIT and using their gentle “run walk” approach to long runs. This allowed my body to heal and I started feeling good about running again. Starting last fall I made FIT's Saturday and Tuesday training runs a part of my preparation for Boston. It worked, and I ran Boston and achieved my goal. So my message is to those tired and burned out runners out there- give FIT a try!"

Greg completed the 2009 Boston marathon in 3:14:33. His goal was 3:15. Congratulations Greg! YOU DID IT! We are so proud of you!
