TRAINING TIP OF THE WEEK
WE CAN’T STRESS THIS ENOUGH:IMPORTANT! BE SURE YOU ARE TRAINING AT THE RIGHT PACE FOR YOU!!!
Our Saturday runs must be done at a comfortable pace for you. To know if you are training at the right pace, you can perform the “talk test”. While running, you should be able to keep up a conversation without gasping for air. If you find yourself having difficulty, or breathing heavily, we advise that you transition to a pace/group that will be much more comfortable for you. Saturday runs should be done at a 1 to 2 minute slower than your regular/race pace. If you feel like the group you currently are right now is a bit challenging, it will get even more challenging as the miles increase so you must adjust your pace and transition to a group more comfortable for you. We want you to succeed with your training and run comfortable and happy! :) SATURDAY MAY 29
