COMMENT ABOUT FIT ON THE MIAMI HERALD!

Dear Members, it was brought up to my attention a comment that was made about FIT as a result of the article on the Miami Herald. I would like to invite you to read it, and to please help us not to be perceived as a group who does not know how to “share the road”. We ask every Saturday and in each newsletter to please keep a single file on the bridges and narrow sidewalks and practice proper running etiquette. We want to be known as a great group! Not one that takes over the side walk and does not share as the person comments. But we need your help! To see the comment, Click Here and see at the bottom Let us all work together on this! Thank you for your cooperation

" TRAINING TIP OF THE WEEK: AGAIN! IMPORTANCE OF FOLLOWING PROPER RUNNING ETIQUETTE!! "

Be sure to practice proper running etiquette not only during the race, but also during your training runs, specially if the place you train is a busy one as it is A1A on Saturday mornings. For proper running etiquette Click Here and for a few more Click Here

TRAINING SCHEDULES UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON!
The holidays are coming and you need to plan ahead. Here are the training schedules for the next 3 months. These schedules will be posted on the website as soon as our webmaster can do so. If at all possible, try to be in town for the longer runs that are usually the most challenging to complete, especially if you are not with the group.

"My Success Story " by Megan Weber

Thanks!

Marcela, Just wanted to say thank you for the great seminars. I had my complete running assessment with Dr. Christie on Friday & am scheduled to get the results next week. With ITB challenges, this is just what I needed! I also made an appointment with Eric Barber at Emery Behavioral Medicine to review the results of the Physiograph test & come up with a nutrition plan. I mentioned his seminar to my boss, and we are now in process of working with him to speak to our company. We are in process of opening a fitness program for employees, so I suggested him to come speak to the group. Some of my coworkers are also interested in contacting him for appointments. Thank you!!

Dear Meg, We are happy to hear you are enjoying our seminars! I’m also very glad to know that you are making good use of our seminar raffle prizes, and that you are utilizing the resources we are providing! We work hard at getting our members a quality program. Our seminars are an important part of it, and we are truly happy to see our members are learning from them, and using the information towards their benefit, and the benefits of others as well!. WAY TO GO MEG! Keep winning those great raffle prizes after the seminars! :)

Your Head Coach Marcela
